By now the world’s balloon community knows that our friend, Linda Bruce, is in a fight for her life. There are several ways you can keep up with her progress.
For one, I will provide updates on this blog. If you have comments, it would be best to save those for a site set up by Eryn Bruce, Linda’s daughter — http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/lindabruce.
For great memories and lots of laughs, George Quintero has set up a site with hundreds of candid photographs of LINDA AROUND THE WORLD. Because his collection includes many faces he doesn’t know, he would appreciate your help with filling in the blanks. Please email George the names of faces you recognize, along with event dates and locations. Be sure to indicate each photo’s ID tag with your details. George’s email address is george@balloonhaven.com. The site is http://www.flickr.com/georgebhaven.
I visited Linda in Petaluma last week. As I was saying good by in the driveway this is the hopeful face I saw. Since then she has undergone chemotherapy and radiation treatments.
We love you Linda — Fight! Fight! Fight!
Update: Cam Woody at Pioneer has added an additional site with photos — click here!

My thoughts and prayers are with you. You keep fighting, girl! The world needs your incredible spirit, energy, and love. You are so special and have spread such happiness to every soul you come in contact with. You leave a wave of joy in your wake wherever you go. Love you, stay positive and be well.

Dearest Linda, our beloved teacher, your loss has created a void which nobody can fill, yet we must live on to share your dreams to the rest of the world.
We all here join to wish your family a lot of courage, strength and support in future without you, you live in our hearts and will be here forever… but we’ll miss You!

PS: We were planning to get Linda to India, to share her experience, but with her demise, we have lost a true mentor, we all pray for her soul to rest in peace.
